Gerry Malley

Here he is, folks! The Truck-Drivin' Fiddler! This guy wails on his fiddle, and it's a shame I can't find anything about him anywhere. Even the liner notes lack many details. Here's what I can gather: He played the weekly Saturday night jamboree at radio station CKMR in New Brunswick. Sadly, that's the only historical information I have about Mr. Malley. But let the music speak for itself, because this is great fiddle music with a super-tight backing band.

I'm just glad that there's a version of Cotton Eye Joe, and yet another version of Ned Landry's Hillbilly Calypso.
