Bevan Gore-Langton

Feeling mellow? Then Bevan's your man.

This independent LP (on the Stamp label from Vancouver, circa mid-70s?) is about the mellowist LP I've ever heard. I've searched for more information about Mr. Gore-Langton, to no avail. the liner notes provide only a hint at who he is:

"The Way I Feel is a collection of original compositions relating personal experiences which have had a profound effect upon composer Bevan Gore-Langton. Through his music, he expresses these feelings with sincerity and warmth. His voice speaking the poetic lyrics blends with the music with unusal and awe-inspiring results."

The Mystery of Marianna is a short instrumental piece, that reminds me of many lullabies. That may not have been the intention, but it has a seriously dreamy quality. On the "vocal tracks" like The Way I Feel, Mr. Gore-Langton kinda loses me a bit, I have to admit. It's all a little corny, but the music has a uber-smooth loungy groove.
