The Sinners - Go Go Trudeau

by Robert Williston 20. November 2009 13:37

The Sinners were a Toronto, Ontario band who released 2 albums in 1968. This first novelty album features a great cover. Here they recorded Go Go Trudeau, a song whish was originally recorded by the french Canadian band Les Sinners in both french and english on Jupiter JP 1138. Band members for The Sinners were Darek Middleton, Myles Devine, Bob Burs, Larry Goguen, and Roy Feener. This band has no relation to the french canadian psychadelic band Les Sinners, who recorded 7 albums in the 1960's and 70's. This album was produced by Bill Bessey & Jack Boswell. Trudeau's most significant contribution to Canadian culture was the 'Trudeau Salute' when in 1982, he flipped the bird to three protestors in Salmon Arm, B.C.
